Library Services

The library moved to a larger location in December, 2003.  The library offers books, audio books, dvd’s, videos, and, periodicals.

 To receive a library card and check out materials the patron must show current proof of address.  Children may receive a card when they turn 5 years old with a parent’s signature.

Movies check out for two days.  The late fee on a movie is a $1.00 a day $1.00 per movie.  All other material is checked out on a two week basis.  The late fee for this material is .05 cents per day.

 We have 11 public access computers for patrons to use the internet.  MicrosoftWord and MicrosoftExcel are also available.  Patrons are very welcomed to access their web-based e-mail however chat is not available.  There is a 30 minute time limit on computers if someone is waiting.

The library will make photo copies for .15 cents per page.

The library also offers fax service for $1.00 per page unless its 1-800 number.  We do not charge for incoming faxes.

If there’s a book that you need and the library does not own it the director can interlibrary loan it from another library.  We do not charge for this service.  The patron may not order more than two books at one time.

The library has a genealogy section that consists of census records, courthouse records, family histories, and other local histories.  Copies are available at .15 cents per page.
