W.G. Rhea Public Library makes a priority of uplifting and empowering Paris and all of Henry County.
All of the Library's many collections and services are freely available to everyone. In fact, the library has but one criterion for admission: Curiosity.
We have over 50,000 books and other materials such as:
* CDs, DVDs & Blu-rays
* Local, State & National newspapers
* Free WiFi and public-use computer lab with printer access.
* Access to Justice computer, as well as, a computer station that is wheelchair/handicapped- accessible.
* Xbox 360 and Teen Computers in our Young Adult Room.
* We scan, fax, copy and print for a nominal fee.
* Children's Room equipped with touchscreen computers with interactive software.
* Monthly programming for adults and youths.
On-site Legal Resources:
* Dedicated Computer for Access To Justice that is Tennessee Electronic Library accessible.
* Portable laptops with Skype.
* Print, copy, scan and fax.
* Over 50 legal reference guides, some with sample forms which may be reproduced.
* Additional 100 books & CD's on various legal topics available for loan.
* Complete and updated copy of Tennessee Code Annotated
* Newly-furnished meeting room, with reservations available for legal conferences.
* Staff with hands-on information for community services-food banks, shelters, etc.
Also, the Friends of the Library Bookstore is right across the hall from your Library! Call for Bookstore hours.
